In most cases, Presentence Reports will no longer be disclosed by mail. Presentence reports are now disclosed in accordance with the filing requirements of the Case Management / Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system of the U.S. District Court Clerk’s Office.
The U.S. Probation Office strives to adhere to the disclosure rule at Rule 32(e)(2) – Minimum Required Notice.
Objections to the Presentence Report shall be filed through CM/ECF in accordance with the time frame as authorized at Rule 32(f)(1) – Time to Object.
